How to get to Compiègne?

Compiègne benefits from a privileged geographical location, approximately 70 km from Paris, and is easily accessible by train or car from the capital. Paris–Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG), located north of Paris, is about 40 minutes away. Paris–Beauvais Airport (BVA), serving numerous low-cost destinations, is located approximately 45 minutes away.

By train
The journey from Paris Gare du Nord to Compiègne train station takes approximately 45 minutes, via the Paris – Saint-Quentin – Maubeuge line.

By plane

  • Arrival at Paris–Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG): travel to Paris Gare du Nord via the RER B, then take a train to Compiègne. It is also possible to reach Compiègne directly by taxi or via a chauffeur-driven car service.

  • Arrival at Paris–Orly Airport: take Orlyval to Antony station, then the RER B to Paris Gare du Nord, before continuing by train to Compiègne.

By car

  • From Paris: take the A1 motorway towards Lille, then take exit no. 9 (Compiègne Sud).

  • From Lille: take the A1 motorway towards Paris, then take exit no. 10 (Compiègne Ouest).

How to reach the conference venue?

Public transportation is free of charge in Compiègne. From the train station and from many locations in the city center, four urban bus lines (lines 1, 2, 3, and 5) serve the research center campus. Depending on the bus line, the nearest stops are “Guy Denielou” or “Centre de Recherche.”
